It is Up To You!...And You!...And You!

As most any parent or group will attest, it is still a much too common occurrence to be disadvantaged, disempowered, or discriminated against by traditional perspectives resulting in unfair practices in a free and democratic society.  Moreover, there is no governmental funding for community advocacy to protect against such inequities.  In short, it is up to each individual to demand the changes that transform grassroots initiatives into political or national priorities and advance the interests of social justice.

While advocacy is often initiated by key events or high-profile individuals, as well as persons representing social agencies, it is the voice of “the people” taking a leadership role that change public opinion and decisions.  With a collective voice, the Children’s Rights Council diligently works to combine the capacity of various media with active participation in the advocacy process to affect important change for you.
