What is Twitter?

 That’s something that a lot more people than parents are asking, even tech savvy teens are wondering. According to it’s website: Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing? Twitter users can post short (140-character) messages known as “tweets” to all their followers. 

There are many people that are active on Twitter, including many famous celebrities. President Obama even has a Twitter account.

Twitpic is a service that allows you to share photos on Twitter. You copy and paste the address into your status to share your pictures.
